This is the best self-help book available for dealing with a stuttering problem. The book was written by Malcolm Fraser, now deceased, who was director of the Stuttering Foundation of America and a stutterer himself. The book contains many insightful quotations from experts in the field of stuttering.

This book outlines the steps to take to improve your speech and eliminate secondary behaviors associated with stuttering. It gives helpful advice for dealing with attitudes and emotions, which are problems that make stuttering hard to treat. It also deals with the simple exercises that must be learned and practiced daily in addition to the concept of acceptance.
