there is much hope for people who stutter (pws)….It’s only a psychological issue …..Google about Nlp/neurosemantics….Really helps people…There are lots of pws who have recovered completely!

i stutter to but yall have to stop the self pity(so hard for me to say btw) this is a blessing in disguise for those that can see. most of us are good people just because we cant shoot our mouths off all day long. most of us rely on others generosity’s making us good people that care about others. while it does suck being alienated we need to deal with it, possibly conquer it or live with it, nothing more nothing less.

I’m a stuterrer but I only started stuttering when I was 9 or 10.

I like to communicate well with other people, I’m a comedian and also an actor. I often stutter when I’m talking to people, but I don’t really stutter when I’m singing (I’m in a band) or if I know the person really well.

I currently stutter, im now 21 and ive stuttered since i can remember. Ive allways found it very hard to socialise and public situations, such as ordering food or speaking to a sales assistant can be very hard. I really enjoyed this video, its really given me a real insight.

it can get frustrating – but what people need to know is that they still have the ability to do things to succeed in life. Do not let this one little thing bring you down – seize the day i say. Thats waht I am doing now…..im no longer letting my stutter take over my life.

When I was growing up i developed a very bad stutter i couldn’t say anything, School was hell and i never meet anyone who has stuttered. Now at 20 its better but some days it gets very bad. sometimes ordering a sub is an embarrassing / painful experience.

this is amazing. listening to these people is like listening to myself…I did all those things that they were talking about, creating “distractions”(even painful ones) in order to avoid ridicule

I see people like me and I start crying knowing what they’re going through knowing they’re just like me. I am a college drop out and In the end I think it was the stuttering and the fear I had by going to class. But I made myself successful at what I do and I’m very happy. I never let stuttering change my dreams as anyone who stutters like you said, there is nothing you can’t do. Just do what you got to do. Thanks again for this post. Very inspirational.

Believe it or not, I stutter too. I have movie on DVD!

I oblige when people cut me off.

They get impatient for stutterers, naturaly so.

If we take too long in trying to say, they will get impatient.

We should not get mad, but we should suck it up!

Mean people or mean sitautions should toughen us up!

7:30 to 7:38 He says “First you panic, then you try to hit it harder”. What a wonderfully perfect description.

I disagree with the doctor. It is painful at not getting the words out. Not physically painful, but I feel so frustrated I could cry!
